Trump-backed Rep. Lauren Boebert has just pulled ahead of her Democrat opponent in the race for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.

Earlier this morning, Boebert trailed opponent Adam Frisch by just 64 votes. She has now gained a narrow lead of only 386 votes, with 98% of the ballots counted so far.

In the state of Colorado, if the final margin of error for a is less than or equal to 0.5%, there will be a mandatory recount. Boebert and Frisch are well within the range that would, by state law, require a recount, as Boebert has 50.1% of the vote, and Frisch has 49.9%.

According to The Denver Post, Pueblo County still has about 1,800 in-person votes and 5,200 mail-in votes left to count, as reported by County Clerk Gilbert Ortiz.

Frisch tweeted about the tight race on Wednesday night, saying,

“As expected, this thing is coming down to the wire. Thank you for sticking with us! We’re feeling good and going to make sure every valid ballot counts.

But we need resources to get the ballots cured, get us through to the end, and defeat Lauren Boebert.”

After staying relatively quiet on social media, Boebert sent out a tweet after she pulled ahead in the race that said, “Winning!”

The predictions in the race for House majority lean in favor of the GOP. Republicans have captured at least 210 House seats. They must win 218 of the seats to take control of the House away from Democrats.

The nation is also waiting to see who will take control of the Senate. Republicans currently have 48 seats, and the Democrats have 46. In order to acquire a majority, one of the parties must win at least 51 seats.

Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia are being closely watched as votes continue to come in for the country’s tightest races. Georgia’s race between Herschel Walker (R) and Raphael Warnock (D) was so close that it is heading to a runoff election on December 6.

The Arizona race between Blake Masters (R) and Mark Kelly (D) appears to be leaning in favor of Kelly. However, only 70% of the votes have been counted so far. Masters has 46.4% of the vote, while Kelly has 51.4%.

Meanwhile, in Nevada, the race for Senate is favoring the Republican candidate Adam Laxalt, who has 49.4% of the vote with 83% of ballots recorded. Laxalt is leading the incumbent Cortez Masto by over 15,000 votes.
